New Updates Released for SQL Server 2016 SP2 and SP1: CU5 and CU13

Microsoft has recently announced the release of SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 2 Cumulative Update 5 (CU5) and Service Pack 1 Cumulative Update 13 (CU13). These updates contain important bug fixes and improvements to SQL Server 2016 SP2 and SP1, respectively.
SQL Server 2016 SP2 CU5 includes over 50 bug fixes, including fixes for issues related to replication, Always On availability groups, database backup and restore, and more. This update also includes important security updates and improvements.
SQL Server 2016 SP1 CU13 contains over 20 bug fixes, including fixes for issues related to performance, high availability, and more. This update also includes improvements to the query optimizer and compatibility with the latest versions of Windows and .NET Framework.
As always, it is highly recommended that you test these updates in a non-production environment before deploying them to your production systems. You can download the updates from the Microsoft Download Center or install them using the SQL Server Update Manager.
