New Updates for SQL Server 2017 and SQL Server 2016 SP2: CU15 and CU7 for Improved Stability and Security

Microsoft has announced the release of SQL Server 2017 Cumulative Update 15 (CU15) and SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 2 Cumulative Update 7 (CU7). These updates contain important bug fixes and improvements to SQL Server 2017 and 2016 SP2, respectively.

SQL Server 2017 CU15 includes over 30 bug fixes, including fixes for issues related to Always On availability groups, database backup and restore, and more. This update also includes important security updates and improvements.

SQL Server 2016 SP2 CU7 contains over 20 bug fixes, including fixes for issues related to performance, query execution, and more. This update also includes improvements to the query optimizer and compatibility with the latest versions of Windows and .NET Framework.

As always, it is highly recommended that you test these updates in a non-production environment before deploying them to your production systems. You can download the updates from the Microsoft Download Center or install them using the SQL Server Update Manager.
